On Saturday August 24th and Sunday August 25th from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, CAFES will have a table set up at the Capital Pride Street Festival! We are looking for 3-4 volunteers to help at the CAFES table for this event. Volunteers will be able to assist CAFES staff with the set-up and take-down of our table, hand out resources, and chat with individuals about who we are and what we do at CAFES.
You are welcome to come out and help on just one of the days, or both Saturday and Sunday. Any length of time you are able to volunteer is appreciated - whether that's 2 hours, or the entire day. For those of you planning to attend the street festival - look for our CAFES table on Bank Street between Laurier and Gloucester. We are looking forward to celebrating pride with all of you!
