CAFES Member Group of 78: Citizens Confront Climate Crisis conference

CAFES member Group of 78 is doing fantastic organizing work! An amazing conference for us right here in Ottawa. Join up on September 27th and 28th for their exciting in-person Citizens Confront Climate Crisis conference. Featuring reknown keynote speaker Tzeporah Berman, this conference focuses on citizen-involvement and re-activation of hope. Come out and learn from expert speakers to strategize how civil society can effectively drive policy change and action in government. The Group of 78 have a great lineup as well as many opportunities to connect and collaborate with other organizations that are at the forefront of citizen-led climate action. This conference is the tonic we need!

The program focuses on citizen movements in Canada and other countries including the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty and EcoJustice litigation brought forward by youth. The program will also bring together experts from David Suzuki, Environmental Defence, Physicians for the Environment, Nature Canada, Below 2 Degrees, Grandmothers, and Local Community Associations to talk about how we can collaborate and amplify our work to save the planet for us all.
