CAFES attended a number of summer BBQs, community fairs, parades, gatherings and tabling events between August and September! We were thrilled to attend:
- Navan Fair for our Thumbs Up project
- Greater Avalon Community Association Summer Fun Fest
- Glengarry Honey and Pollinator Festival
- Capital Pride
- Silver Lake PowWow
- Hunt Club Community Association Fall Festival & Community BBQ
- Carlingwood Community Association BBQ
- Convent Glen Orleans Wood Community BBQ
- University of Ottawa’s Campus Sustainability Day
- HorizonFest
- Carp Fair
A HUGE thank you goes out to the many volunteers from the CAFES network who came out to staff our information table, help with set up and take down, and speak to community members at each event to share more on the important work we do for climate and environmental action at CAFES. We would not have been able to show up at so many excellent community events if not for your support!
