Mark your calendars for the Great Glebe Garage Sale on Saturday, May 23 – CAFES will be holding our annual Pollinator Plant Fundraiser!
From 8am – 1pm we will be outside at 166 Glebe Avenue selling native perennial plants, herbs, and annual flowers to support greening and gardening in Ottawa. We will be happy to chat with you all about the importance of choosing native plants and how to make your home more pollinator friendly.
Plants will be available for pre-order from the CAFES website starting on Tuesday, May 12. Pre-ordered plants will be available for local pick-up during various times (morning and afternoon) from Wednesday May 19 to Saturday May 23 at 166 Glebe Ave. Stay tuned for more info. Or, you can just stop by our booth on Saturday 23 May to see this year’s selection in-person! We will also be selling fresh hot coffee, tea and snacks. We plan to be with great company, as next to us will be Ecology Ottawa’s tree give-away, ByTown Bees honey, and worm castings from the Social Harvest.
This fundraiser helps support CAFES’ climate and environmental work in Ottawa. It is through your support that we can continue building community, advocating for a more sustainable Ottawa, and organizing local greening projects. Thank you for your support, and we can’t wait to see you there!
