Every second Monday of the month from 8:00 - 9:00 am, join CAFES' Executive Director Angela Keller-Herzog as she sits down with hosts Nathaniel Newton and Chris White for CKCU's Morning Blend program!
CKCU FM 93.1 is a campus-based community radio station at Carleton University dedicated to diversity, alternative content and independent voices in the Ottawa-Gatineau area.
In the May and June segments, Angela shared her thoughts about how effective communication can drive change, and spoke about the exciting possibilities of renewable energy transitions. She delved into interesting discussions about climate change and Ottawa's experiences of heavy rainfalls and flooding.
In July, Angela spoke about the goal for climate justice, early days of eco-tenant unions, what the organization ACORN is all about, and how we can find power in numbers.
The most recent segment in August touched on the City of Ottawa's role when it comes to our city's carbon footprint, how the City has effectively paused all renewable energy projects, and what we can do as residents to push for change.
Check out CAFES' Instagram to listen to some clips, and don't forget to tune in to Angela's next segment on Tuesday, September 9th at 8:00 am!
