    The Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library is proud to announce our free seed giveaway schedule. Now is the perfect time to sow native seeds. Join us to learn about native plant gardening and receive free native seeds for winter sowing. No gardening experience required!

    October 28: 1:00-2:30 at Springhurst Park 

    November 11: 1:00-2:30 at Riverside Hunt Club Community Centre, 3320 Paul Anka Dr. 

    November 18: 1:00-2:30 at Ray Friel Recreation Complex, 1585 Tenth Line Rd. 

    December 2: 1:00-3:00 at Elmvale Acres Library, 1910 Saint Laurent Blvd.

    Green/Vert Toastmasters - 1st Saturday of the month

    Join us to practice skills in speaking, presenting, listening,and leadership. Our club provides a great environment for green-minded people,sustainability professionals, and anyone interested in improving theircommunication skills.

Steps to subscribe to the calendar

Google calendar users:

  • Click on the link below
  • This will open your google calendar in a new tab, and ask you to confirm adding this calendar to yours. Make sure you are signed into the google account that you would like the environment and climate calendar to be added to.

Google Calendar users: Click this link to to add this calendar to your calendar

Outlook calendar users:

  • Click the button below entitled “copy link to calendar” 
  • Go into your outlook calendar on the web. 
  • Select “Add calendar”
  • Select “subscribe from web”
  • Click “control + v” to paste the copied calendar link into the box that appears. 
  • Fill out the prompt that appears once you paste the link and name this calendar 
  • Select “import”
  • The Community Environment and Climate Calendar should now be added to your Outlook calendar.

Apple Calendar users:

  • Click the button below entitled “copy link to calendar”
  • Open your apple calender 
  • Select “file” and “New Calendar Subscription”
  • Click “control + v” to paste the copied calendar link into the box that appears. 
  • Determine your preferences in the box that appears and click “OK”
