We are looking for candidates who have experience in communications, perspective on suburban living, have connections to community groups and are passionate about climate and environmental change locally. About CAFES: we are a network of residents and citizens’ associations with the mission to support effective environmental action in the local community and at the municipal level towards creating and safeguarding a more healthy and livable city. We were established as a network over 10 years ago, and have spent the last two years building our internal capacity to be a strong advocacy organization in Ottawa’s environmental landscape. We are an incorporated not-for-profit looking to grow with engaged residents!

The new board will be elected by members of CAFES at our Annual General Meeting (mark your calendar for 6:30 to 9:30 pm on March 22, 2023, details to follow) and make sure you are a member of CAFES so you can vote.
