The CAFES network, in collaboration with the Electric Vehicle Council of Ottawa (EVCO), hosted a successful Green Fair Ottawa on Saturday, June 13! Green Fair Ottawa is a fun sustainability showcase bringing together innovators, local vendors, and Ottawa residents to discover and celebrate practical solutions for greener living. Building on the decade-long legacy of the SmartNet Sustainability Showcase, the event fills both indoor and outdoor spaces at the Ottawa Conference & Events Centre with an electric vehicle exhibition and test-drives, e-bike demos, local food trucks, family-friendly programming, energy-efficient home technologies, chef-led induction cooking demonstrations, and educational workshops — all in one vibrant, accessible gathering place. Co-organized by CAFES Ottawa and the Electric Vehicle Council of Ottawa, the fair is designed not just to inform, but to inspire by connecting everyday Ottawans with the people, products, and ideas driving the city’s transition to a greener future.
