Ottawa City council voted today (October 13, 2021) to pass a motion put forward by Councillor Shawn Menard in which the city will request that the government of Ontario to phase out Gas-fired electricity generation in Ottawa! This is a big step in the right direction, and one that could not be passed without the help of many dedicated volunteers. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.
