On Sunday May 4th from 9:30 - 11:00am CAFES will be organizing a Tree Walk in Coronation Park as part of the annual Jane’s Walk initiative. Tree expert Owen Clarkin will be leading this walk to share his knowledge with community members on native tree species, identification, the importance of trees, tree health, and much more. This walk is organized in partnership with the Riverview Park Community Association.
The guided walk will be approximately 1km through the small woodlot in the park, as well as one or two streets nearby. The woodlot has a wonderful diversity of tree species and is a nice spot to get outside and enjoy some fresh air with your neighbours! At the end of the walk, we will be doing a tree planting demonstration to share best practices for planting, watering and caring for young trees. We can't wait to see you there!

Parking: There will be street parking available on nearby residential streets and along Station Blvd.
