CAFES has a number of exciting community events we are attending throughout August and September 2026 and we are looking for volunteers to help us out!
Visit the link below to sign up for the events you are interested in. Each event is listed on the tabs along the bottom of the spreadsheet. If you find an event (or several!) that you want to volunteer at, enter your name and email on the form, and select the shift times you are available. You can also indicate your preferred role.
Depending on the event, volunteer roles can include staffing our CAFES information table, chatting with event participants about the work we do at CAFES, getting petition and mailing list sign-ups, handing out buttons or snacks or other fun items, assisting with set-up and take-down, and other various roles.

- Glengarry Honey and Pollinator Festival – Saturday August 29
- Silver Lake PowWow – Saturday August 29 and Sunday August 30
- Capital Pride – Saturday August 29 and Sunday August 30
- CAFES Mayoral Forum (August 26) and Mayoral Eco-Debate (September 17)
- Hunt Club Community Association Fall Festival and Community BBQ – Saturday, Sept 12
- Carlingwood Community Association BBQ – Sunday, Sept 13
- UOttawa Campus Sustainability Day – Friday, Sept 18
- Fridays for Future Ottawa-Gatineau Climate March – Saturday, Sept 19
- HorizonFest – Saturday, Sept 19
- Waste Reduction, Plastic Pollution & Circularity Fair – Saturday, Sept 19
- Carp Fair – Sept 24 to Sept 27
